The Brief
Sunnybrook Foundation wanted a donor recognition environment that would do more than list names, one that would convey the real impact of donor generosity and serve as a genuine showcase of innovation for the hospital.
The Work
Envision created a recognition environment built around emotional storytelling, using physical form, colour, and light to shape the mood of the space, with dynamic content that could be updated over time through Envision’s content management system. The installation received APEX Bronze Recognition in the Healthcare Environments category in 2019. The relationship grew from there: Envision subsequently designed the Sunnybrook Foundation’s Tap-to-Donate fixture, Canada’s first of its kind.
The Relationship
A partnership that produced an APEX Bronze-recognised donor wall and Canada’s first Tap-to-Donate fixture, evolving alongside the Foundation’s recognition program.
The Envision team provided amazing concepts for our revolutionary Tap-to-Donate fixture — a first of its kind in Canada. They were able to make it attractive, functional, and live in harmony with the digital donor wall that they also designed and installed. They were patient as we worked through a complex approval process and site preparation at the hospital. We are raising money and are thrilled with the result.
