The Brief
The New World Symphony had a recognition challenge unique in Envision’s experience: how do you honour donors with the presence and impact the moment deserves, inside a building designed by Frank Gehry, where the architecture is the statement, there are no straight walls, and nothing can be allowed to compete with the space itself?
The Work
Envision identified a glass corner as the only surface that could carry a recognition environment without disturbing the architectural integrity of the building. The corner faced the Miami outdoors on one side and a rehearsal space requiring natural light on the other, ruling out conventional display technology entirely. Envision worked with technology partners to bring a 2.5mm LED-on-glass solution to the curved surface, the first installation of its kind anywhere, delivering donor names, fellow profiles, an interactive alumni map, and real-time storytelling with the clarity and legibility the content demanded, across varying light conditions and viewing angles, without blocking the light the rehearsal space required.
